Terms and conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of Albor Empowering Childhood S.L. ("Albor") products through alborkids.com. Please read them before you order - by placing an order you accept them.
Nothing in this document reduces the rights Spanish and European consumer law gives you. Where anything here conflicts with those rights, those rights win

2) Who can buy, and where we deliver
To order from alborkids.com you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. By ordering you confirm that you are.
We ship from Spain to Spain and across the European Union. The destinations available to you are the ones offered at checkout.
We do not deliver to the Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla.
3) Our products
Albor makes gender-neutral children's clothing in sizes 2–4, 4–6, 6–8 and 8–10 years, cut for a relaxed fit and anchored to height rather than age. Full measurements for every style are published in our Size Guide.
We photograph our garments as faithfully as we can, but screens vary and small differences in colour between an image and the physical garment are normal. Because our fabrics are organic cotton, slight variation in shade between production runs is also normal and is not a defect.
Where we state a fabric composition, it describes the fabric. Trims, threads and prints are described separately where they differ. Care instructions are published on each product page and in our Care Guide.
4) Placing an order
- Choose your items and sizes and add them to your bag.
- Go to checkout and enter your delivery and billing details.
- Review the summary — items, sizes, price, taxes, delivery cost and total.
- Accept these Terms and Conditions and pay.
- We send you an order acknowledgement by email.
The order acknowledgement confirms we received your order. The contract between us is formed when we send you the dispatch confirmation for the items in it. If we cannot fulfil part of an order, we will tell you and refund that part.
Please check your acknowledgement carefully. If anything is wrong — especially the delivery address — write to care@alborkids.com immediately. Once an order has been dispatched we cannot change it.
5) Prices and VAT
All prices shown on alborkids.com include VAT. The price you see is the price of the product; delivery is added separately and shown before you pay.
On VAT specifically, in plain terms:
- Spanish VAT applies to every order, wherever in the EU it is delivered, for as long as Albor's cross-border sales within the EU stay below the €10,000 annual threshold that EU law sets for small businesses.
- Once we pass that threshold, the VAT rate of your own country applies instead.
- Either way, the rate and the final total are shown at checkout before you pay. You will never be charged more than the total you confirmed.
Because we deliver only within the European Union's customs and VAT territory, there are no customs duties or import charges to pay on arrival.
Prices may change at any time, but a change never affects an order already confirmed. If an obvious pricing error appears on the site — a price clearly wrong by any reasonable reading — we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than honour it. We will tell you as soon as we notice.
6) Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is taken when the order is placed.
Payments are processed by our payment provider over an encrypted connection. Albor never sees or stores your full card number. If a payment is declined or reversed, we may cancel the order.
An invoice is issued for every order and sent by email.
7) Delivery
Delivery options, times and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Under Spanish consumer law, if we have not delivered within 30 days of the contract you may give us an additional reasonable period, and if we still fail to deliver you may cancel and receive a full refund.
Risk in the goods passes to you when you, or someone you nominate, takes physical possession of them.
8) Changing your mind
You have 30 days in total from delivery to send something back. Within that period there are two stages, and they refund different amounts:

Days 1–14 |
Days 15–30 |

The legal right is explained in full, with the withdrawal form, on our Right of Withdrawal page. The voluntary window is explained in our Returns Policy.
In both cases you pay the cost of sending the item back. We tell you this here, before you buy, because the law requires us to — if we did not, we would have to bear that cost ourselves.
We do not offer size exchanges. If you need a different size, return the item and place a new order, which gets the size you need moving immediately instead of waiting for the first parcel to travel back to us. Our Size Guide publishes full measurements for every style so that this is needed as rarely as possible.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items are handled differently and at our expense. See section 9.
9) Legal guarantee
Everything we sell must match its description and be fit for its purpose. If it does not, you have a legal guarantee of conformity of three years from delivery, under Spanish consumer law.
For the first two years, any lack of conformity that appears is presumed to have existed at delivery unless we can show otherwise. After that, the burden shifts to you.
If a garment is faulty, write to care@alborkids.com with your order number and photographs. You may ask for repair or replacement, and if neither is possible or proportionate, a price reduction or a full refund. We pay the return postage on faulty goods.
Normal wear, damage from misuse or accident, and damage caused by not following the care instructions are not covered. Neither is the shrinkage natural to organic cotton — up to 5% in the first washes, mostly in length — which our Care Guide and Size Guide both describe before you buy.
10) Customer service and complaints
Write to care@alborkids.com. We answer every message, and we would always rather fix something directly than have you go elsewhere.
If we cannot resolve it between us, you may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
11) Our liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care.
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so — in particular for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for defective products under product liability law, or for any of your statutory rights as a consumer.
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event occurs we will contact you as soon as possible, and if the delay becomes substantial you may cancel and receive a full refund.
12) Intellectual property
The Albor name and wordmark, the tagline Empowering Childhood, our garment designs, photography and written content are protected. Buying a garment gives you the garment - it does not give you a licence to use our brand or content commercially. See our Legal Notice for the detail.
13) Your personal data
We process the data needed to take, deliver and support your order. What we collect, why, for how long and what rights you have is set out in our Privacy Policy.
14) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, and we keep a record. Changes never apply retroactively to an order already confirmed.
15) If part of these Terms is invalid
If a court finds any provision here unlawful or unenforceable, that provision is removed and the rest continues to apply.
16) Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish law.
As a consumer, you can bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and you benefit from the mandatory consumer protections of that country. Nothing here takes that away.
